After months of constant struggle with the patient being on life support, it now appears the prognosis for the VVR community forum hosted by Cruise Critic is rapidly waning with little hope of recovery. It’s only a matter of time before any remaining signs of life will be extinguished and the plug finally pulled.
It wasn’t that long ago that the patient, otherwise known as VVR Forum, was extremely vibrant and active. However, on two different occasions in the past 4 months, professionals charged with safeguarding VVRF’s health have felt it necessary to intervene with radical procedures that many of VVRF’s most devoted fans deemed overly aggressive and bordering on malpractice.
The patient bounced back temporarily after the first intervention but last month the caregivers intervened once again, this time with demonstrably iatrogenic treatment that has rendered VVRF virtually lifeless ever since. Visitors who dropped by to visit have left shaking their heads, disgusted and bewildered by the egregious mistreatment of the patient. A large but unknown number of visitors have actually been turned away at the door, blocked from conveying their thoughts and concerns to VVRF in person or even in writing.
We miss the once vigorous and feisty VVRF and we share the frustration of those whose involvement contributed to that once vibrant energy. Please feel free to offer your thoughts and condolences here.

I'm shocked that CC allowed a post with a link leading to your substack! But I'm sure glad they did! I loved reading your posts there, and think I've seen comments on JR's substack too 😀. I discovered CC (I think in JP's youtubes) late in the game, towards the end of the 2nd iteration. I went back and read all the past comments (64 pages). When I asked how to find the first iteration, thankfully I received a reply, before my question and the reply were removed. I then read all of the 1st iteration (128 pages). By then, CC moderators were deleting comments left and right. My 2nd comment stated that I believe CC had also received a "cease and desist" letter. Of course that was immediately deleted, and I was put under constant surveillance. Even a positive post thanking those who manage to get posted, doesn't pass their muster.
